Live free or Die!
I spent the last four days in New Hampshire with the ladies, for some fun in the sun, relaxing moments sipping wine and chatting and a last little trip before returning to work -that was today for me :(
We had two days of beautiful sunshine and two days of grey, which made for a nice balance between enjoying nature and staying at home in your PJ's all day long and not feeling guilty about it!
On the way to Eden, N-H, we stopped at the famous Parker Pie in Vermont, where they serve delicious pizzas. My friends had told me about this place and it came highly recommended, so the pressure was on to try it and to love it! I am happy to report that the pies at Parker did not disappoint- served on a very thin crust (which is crisp and delicious), the pies are topped with something for everyone and eaten in the sun with a glass of brew and great company, nothing much can be better!

Typical Thursday night dinner!
I love cooking and baking! I enjoy creating nice meals, mixing ingredients, improvising, going along with what is in the fridge at the moment. And of course, I love eating what I make (and what others make too)!!!
Making pizza might sound intimidating, but it really is quite easy. The dough itself only takes a few minutes to make (the part that takes the most time is letting the dough rise) and if you don't feel that adventurous, you don't even have to make the tomato sauce yourself, although I would encourage you to take those extra minutes to do so, as it is well worth it! Once you have those two keys parts, all you need is a variety of your favorite toppings and voilĂ ! Then, all that is left to do is enjoy your creation with your favorite person in front of a good movie!
